“From Caterpillars To Butterflies”
“From Caterpillars To Butterflies”, founded here in Savannah, is designed to inspire, motivate and mentor young girls to be prepared for a successful life. Mentors teach the “caterpillars” the essential life skills that every young lady needs to know to be successful. We mentor the "caterpillars" through meetings that focus on time management, mental well-being, student loans, personal grooming, hygiene, basic cooking skills, etiquette and many other skills that they may not receive through organic life experiences.
Meeting schedules are flexible to provide the girls with an opportunity to learn and receive hands-on experience about the skill. The girls receive lunch and an essential goody bag with materials that allow them to go home and practice the skills we discussed in the meeting. The girls not only thoroughly enjoy the meetings, but they leave with life lessons that they are prepared for in advance, thus, improving the likelihood of achieving success!
